March 25, 2020 – DIGITALiBiz (iBiz) announced today that it has been awarded a new 5-year / $33M contract with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen) Organization. Under this contract iBiz will support work that encompasses NextGen critical path concept validation, technology development, and prototyping of new capabilities to improve aviation system safety, capacity, and efficiency. “iBiz is proud and excited to continue our support of the NextGen Organization and their goal of transforming the National Airspace System (NAS) to meet future demands safely and efficiently,” said Steve Murray, iBiz President.
iBiz, along with its partners, Fort Hill Group and Lifecycle LLC, will support critical NextGen programs such as Urban Air Mobility (UAM), Remote Tower System (RTS), Trajectory Based Operations (TBO), Performance Based Navigation (PBN), and Multiple Airport Route Separation (MARS).
