FAA Awards iBiz New 4-Year Contract

May 1, 2012 – DIGITALiBiz (iBiz) announced today that it has been awarded a new four-year contract to continue supporting the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Technical Operations Services (ATO-W), National Enterprise Operations, National Operations Group (NOG) and National Operations Control Center (NOCC), and supporting organizations. Under this contract, iBiz will provide Program Management, Software Engineering, Operations & Maintenance, and Training Support Services.

Steve Murray, iBiz COO and Executive Vice President said, “this new contract extends our long-term partnership with the FAA to design and maintain automated tools that help the NOCC provide national level tracking, coordination, and restoration information of NAS infrastructure in a time critical fashion.” Murray continued, “for more than three years, we have worked side-by-side with FAA ATO-W to produce creative solutions that maximize results.”

iBiz develops, implements and maintains a wide range of automated databases and tracking systems that are used for data storage, tracking and reporting of Technical Operations Service programs. These tools and applications, most of which are published through the TechNet Portal (http://technet.faa.gov), are used by many ATO organizations and a majority of TechOps Organizations. Furthermore, iBiz is solely responsible for spec’ing, installing, operating, managing and maintaining the entire NOCC IT infrastructure and recommending upgrades, improvements or replacements of existing processes and/or systems.
