October 21, 2014 – DIGITALiBiz (iBiz) announced today that it has been awarded a new five-year prime contract to continue providing management support, portfolio coordination, and information technology (IT) support for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen) Organization (ANG).
“Our team of dedicated and experienced subject matter experts and analysts will be working directly with the FAA to generate, review, analyze, coordinate, and maintain a wide variety of NextGen pre-implementation and portfolio artifacts,” said Mike Wu, iBiz CEO and President. “This contract allows iBiz to further our efforts as an FAA trusted partner working with ANG to support their business, analytical, financial, and administrative requirements.”
Under this contract, iBiz will provide management supporting including, but not limited to, analysis, documentation, maintenance, and change control of program and project requirements; identify issues and changes resulting from separation standards and Air Traffic procedures in the research phase of the “Greener Skies” initiative; and provide custom application development analytical services. Furthermore, iBiz will identify and evaluate the decision support tools that utilize Advance Aircraft Area Navigation (RNAV)/Required Navigation Performance (RNP).

The NextGen Organization (ANG) is responsible for establishing the goals, safety and security of the National Airspace System (NAS), long-term strategies, budgets, priorities and resource allocations that improve service and achieve performance targets. ANG establishes and manages the NAS Concept of Operations, the Enterprise Architecture and the NAS Operational Portfolios to ensure they meet current and future service requirements.
