Change Management Professional

Required Skills, Education, Certifications and Experience

  • BA degree + 15 relevant years ofrelevant experience; or
    • Ph. D + 11 relevant years of experience
    • Master’s + 13 relevant years of experience
  • Prosci Change Management Practitioner certification
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager on projects with similar scopes and objectives
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to communicate and discuss ideas effectively
  • Deep understanding and appreciation of customer business, organization, constraints, and objectives
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to define and manage to project schedules
  • Must be experienced using project management methodologies (Infrastructure, Waterfall, Agile)

Responsibilities

This position located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma or Fort Worth, Texas will provide Change Management support to our Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) customer. In particular, this position will support Change Management by assisting in project development, through implementation. Projects may vary from assisting with various Flight Standards projects and activities.
Duties will include the following:

  • Manage, develop, and track all aspects of project(s), inclusive of milestones and deliverables, and provide project management expertise on a daily basis
  • Create a detailed Change Management plan that identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project(s)
  • Review the change schedule with senior FAA management and all other staff who will be affected by project activities, revising the schedule as necessary
  • Ensure all the required products and deliverables are produced and reviewed, including the technical leadership of requirements management, design, implementation, system integration, verification, testing, quality assurance, delivery, operations, and sustainment of the technical solution
  • Determine the objectives and evaluation metrics that projects will be evaluated by upon completion
  • Develop and deliver project-specific content, progress reports, requirements documentation, and presentations
  • Effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
  • Manage and appropriately escalate delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes associated with project initiatives
  • Analyze, plan, and develop requirements documents, developing procedures and other related management and operational duties in collaboration with stakeholders and FAA partners
  • Manage scope of changes throughout project duration, maintaining accurate program estimates, timelines, project plans, and status reports
  • Identify, create, and evolve Change management standards and practices and educate and train others within the
  • Foundational Business Division
  • Manage day-to-day client interaction, including setting and managing client expectations
