Human Resources Coordinator

Required Skills, Education, Certifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Human Resources in an assistant role
  • Must be process-oriented with a focus on efficiency
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and on a team
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Must be able to work in a highly confidential environment
  • Strong oral & written communications and presentation skills
  • Advanced MS Office Suite skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Must be able to travel to DC location as needed
  • Must have a current working knowledge of employment law and regulations including Title VII, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, ERISA, COBRA, PPACA, Section 125, and unemployment and labor laws across multiple states

  • Previous experience with ADP and iCIMS applicant tracking system

The Human Resources Coordinator will work at the iBiz Corporate Office, reporting directly to the Vice President of Human Resources and fulfilling the following duties:

  • Assist with key HR processes to include recruiting, on-boarding, benefits/HRIS administration, employment law compliance, and off-boarding
  • Execute administrative duties while providing high-energy service to employees and managers
  • Maintain HR department records and reports in areas of assigned responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR practices and procedures to ensure efficient departmental operations and compliance with applicable regulations
  • Assist with conducting periodic audits of internal systems
  • Manage and maintain personnel records, including tracking I-9’s, jury duty, and bereavement leave
  • Assist with reconciliation of all benefit bills
  • Support the Accounting Department with payroll changes
  • Provide administrative support to recruiting and HR functions
  • Administration and tracking of performance review process
  • Manage all HR helpdesk requests from managers and employees
