Wayne Porter has more than 25 years of Information Technology experience performing various duties including business development, sales and capture management, proposal writing, competitive analysis, strategic planning, operations, program management, marketing communications, and public and community relations.
Mr. Porter joined DIGITALiBiz, Inc. (iBiz) as a Corporate Vice President in May 2010. In this role, Mr. Porter is primarily responsible for new business development, corporate branding, marketing and sales management. He is also leading the company's strategy driven growth efforts into agencies including the United States Patent and Trademark Office; Federal Communications Commission; the Department of Health and Human Services; and the Department of the Treasury.
Prior to joining iBiz, Mr. Porter served as a Vice President at CACI. Mr. Porter joined CACI in August 2002 as a result of the acquisition of Condor Technology Solutions. During his career at CACI, he held numerous senior-level roles including supporting the company's emerging Healthcare Solutions Division. In this role, Mr. Porter was part of the senior team responsible for managing the company's federal civilian healthcare operations. He was responsible for operations and personnel management, profit and loss, and new business and organic growth efforts. While at CACI, he won the Corporate Marathon and Pinnacle Awards for sales greater than $250 million.
Prior to joining CACI, Mr. Porter worked at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) Corporation (now Hewlett-Packard Company) from 1990 to 1999 supporting federal civilian and State and Local government customers. During this time, he was promoted to Director and served in various roles of increasing responsibility including customer training, public relations and marketing communications, business development, and sales and capture management. While at EDS, he won the Corporate Inner Circle Award for sales greater than $20M.
Mr. Porter holds a B.A. degree in Communications from The American University. He lives in Ellicott City, MD with his wife Kelly and three children: Jackson, Nicholson, and Tyson.
