Leadership Team


Michael Wu is the founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Information Officer of DIGITALiBiz, Inc (iBiz). He founded iBiz in 2002 as a web hosting company. With his vast IT experience and entrepreneur attitude, Mr. Wu leveraged the success of his web hosting company to expand into other IT solution areas including integrated systems testing and evaluation, systems engineering and integration, and policy and governance support services.

With over 25 years of technology and management experience supporting commercial and federal government customers, Mr. Wu’s primary responsibilities include defining corporate strategy, directing the technical solutions team, and establishing innovative practices to increase efficiency.

His technical expertise includes data visualization and analytics, SharePoint design and development, infrastructure design and optimization, and business and IT process automation.

He continues to expand and apply his technical abilities by overseeing iBiz’s growth into areas such as Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, and internet of Things.



Mr. Murray has more than 30 years of Operations Management, Business Development, and Information Technology experience supporting federal government customers. Mr. Murray's domain expertise includes full life cycle software development, systems engineering and technical assistance, network infrastructure, and program management support contracts. Mr. Murray possesses extensive experience with Federal Acquisition Practices and Policies.

Mr. Murray joined iBiz in July of 2005 and was promoted to President on October 27, 2015. Mr. Murray is responsible for all operational aspects of the company and provides oversight for business development activities. He develops the strategic direction that drives corporate initiatives in growth, customer satisfaction, and industry partnerships.

Prior to joining iBiz, Mr. Murray served as the Senior Vice President of Operations for Paradigm Solutions Corporation. In this role, he was responsible for managing all federal operations. Mr. Murray significantly contributed to the growth and profitability of the company as it grew from $21M to $60M in annual revenues. His responsibilities included profit and loss, new growth, customer satisfaction, and quality control. Mr. Murray championed the implementation of ISO 9001 and CMMI Maturity Level 2.

Prior to this position, Mr. Murray held several executive level operations and business development roles with various companies including IQ Solutions, Commerce One, and CSSI Incorporated. Mr. Murray has served as the Vice President for Business Development for several companies, responsible for identifying, capturing, and winning numerous multi-million dollar contracts across a wide range of federal government agencies.

Mr. Murray holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC).

Chief Financial Officer

Mark Rados has more than 35 years experience specializing in financial planning, business management and accounting. He has extensive experience in the installation and operation of various accounting systems such as DELTEK, SYMPAQ and PROCAS and has directed the development, implementation, operation, maintenance, and control of essential business, information, and operations support systems.

Mr. Rados joined DIGITALiBiz, Inc. (iBiz) in February 2009 and currently serves as the company's Chief Financial Officer. His responsibilities include accounting operations; contracts, subcontracts and procurement; financial and management reporting; capital and lease planning; and, indirect expense and rate management. He manages audits interfacing with DCAA on contractor accounting systems, the acceptance of provisional indirect billing rates and incurred cost audits.

Prior to joining iBiz, Mr. Rados served as Chief Financial Officer to provide financial, operational and compliance support to a Global Macro hedge fund manager of two Master-Feeder structures and multiple managed accounts with $720 million of assets under management. As Chief Compliance Officer, he effectively registered, complied, and de-registered with the SEC as an Investment Advisor, successfully passed National Futures Association audit, and received Amber Certification. Structured Master-Feeder entities for foreign exchange portfolio complete with disclosure documents and procurement of directorship services.

Prior to working in the investment advisory industry, Mr. Rados spent 20 years with Government contractors where he implemented and sustained financial departments, formulated and projected indirect rates through detailed forecasts, established relationships with banks and CPA firms and provided the financial management required to ensure a sound financial base for operations. Mr. Rados also implemented and staffed Contracts Departments in addition to establishing benefits and implementing Human Resource departments. As Chief Financial Officer and member of executive management teams, he facilitated and participated in strategic planning sessions where business plans and goals were developed and subsequently communicated to employees.

Mr. Rados received a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Maryland.

Senior Vice President

John Markey currently serves as Senior Vice President where he oversees operations including  contracts, P&L management, iBiz’s Program Management Office (PMO), and customer satisfaction.   In addition, he serves as a backup to iBiz President, Stephen Murray.  Joining iBiz in July 2012 as a member of the iBiz executive leadership team, John also supports business growth and marketing activities. John has more than 32 years of operations, business development, leadership and strategic planning experience supporting the federal government market.

He supports several federal clients including the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Department of Defense (DoD),  including the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC).  John has a proven track record of managing aviation, management and engineering contracts and implementing resources and technology to increase productivity. He has extensive experience supporting the FAA & DoD in the area of financial and performance plans. These plans include budget and forecasting, program/project planning, and cost/scheduling. John’s experience supporting clients with solving their most challenging business problems, as well as a full understanding of clients’ needs, has led him to build long-term relationships in the government arena.

John was also Vice President at CSSI, Inc. where he was key to their growth and expansion from a small to large business.

John holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland.

Vice President

Steve Cooper has more than 35 years of management and service delivery experience. He has managed the successful formulation and realization of business strategies through IT in both the private and public sector and has broad experience across many lines of business including: legal, regulatory, healthcare, education, emergency preparedness and response, grants management, entertainment and hospitality. Mr. Cooper has managed efforts in excess of $100 million, directing teams of over 250 personnel. He is an experienced Portfolio-Program-Project Manager, Analyst, Solutions Architect, Release and IV&V Manager and Business Process Engineer.

Mr. Cooper joined DIGITALiBiz, Inc. (iBiz) in February 2007, as an Operations Director and Program Manager and has since been promoted to Vice President of Corporate Development. Mr. Cooper leads iBiz Corporate Operations, Strategy, and Quality Assurance and is responsible for supporting all of iBiz's customers and growth through the formulation and implementation of superior solutions, best practices and processes. Mr. Cooper is responsible for iBiz's ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and our CMMI appraisal program.

Prior to joining iBiz, Mr. Cooper was the Vice President of Dovel Technologies Information Solutions Division. He oversaw Dovel's relationships with the FDA, SEC and HHS-OIG in addition to other agencies and partners. Mr. Cooper initiated Dovel's CMMI Appraisal efforts and was the lead and key contributor on numerous proposals and business solution development efforts.

Prior to Dovel Technologies, Mr. Cooper worked for Paradigm Solutions Corporation. He joined Paradigm in 2002 and successfully led multiple efforts to develop and deliver solutions to Housing and Urban Development. Mr. Cooper served as Program Manager for the HUD Real Estate Assessment Center – Development Coordination Group, leading a team of 10 subject matter experts providing technical Project Management Office and Change Management services. Mr. Cooper was simultaneously the Project Manager on HUD's Community Planning and Development contract servicing the maintenance of systems supporting over $2 billion in grants a year. In 2003, Mr. Cooper was promoted to Director of Operations where he oversaw the HUD contracts, supported continued growth of Paradigm's public sector business; led efforts to achieve a CMMI Maturity Level 2 assessment; and the development of the OpsPlanner Continuity of Operations solution.

Mr. Cooper holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from The University of South Carolina.

Vice President

Diane Reed has more than 15 years of full cycle Human Resources (HR) experience including recruiting, on-boarding, employee relations and retention, benefits administration, payroll, compliance, training, performance management, policy and procedures development, and termination.

Mrs. Reed has been supporting iBiz since April, 2012 and was promoted to Vice President of Human Resources in May, 2020. In this role, Mrs. Reed manages our human resources strategic planning, compliance & regulation, recruiting & retention and contributing to moral and employee outreach. In addition, she manages employee relations and oversees compliance requirements including Healthcare Reform, Affirmative Action Plan (AAP), Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), and Veterans Employment and Training Service (VETS).

Prior to joining iBiz, Mrs. Reed served as an HR consultant at Independent Benefit Services (IBEN) which was acquired by Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. During her tenure with the company, Mrs. Reed worked with multiple organizations to provide full cycle HR support across all industries including government contracting and non-profit. She conducted in-depth audits and revamped HR departments to ensure that industry best practices were implemented across all areas of HR.

Mrs. Reed holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Towson University.

Vice President

Michael Hawthorne has more than 30 years of aviation management and policy; organizational analysis and development; concept planning and analysis; and systems development expertise.  Mr. Hawthorne joined DIGITALiBiz (iBiz) as Vice President of Transportation Solutions and Strategies in January 2020. In this role, Mr. Hawthorne is primarily responsible for operations and business development efforts supporting the company’s transportation contracts, particularly programs involving critical Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) NextGen initiatives. His responsibilities include personnel management, contract support, profit/loss, and overall customer satisfaction.

He began his career as an FAA cooperative education student at the William J. Hughes Technical Center in Atlantic, City, NJ, researching and developing technologies that would eventually become foundational to NextGen and Trajectory Based Operations (TBO).  Building on his early experiences, he relocated to FAA Headquarters in Washington, DC where he played a leadership role in the development and implementation of multiple large-scale, complex programs, including Data Communications, En Route Automation Modernization (ERAM), and System Wide Information Management (SWIM).  He also coordinated the Air Traffic Organization’s (ATO) international activities in the Americas region, served as the ATO’s liaison to International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and served as a Senior Advisor in the FAA’s Office of Aviation Policy and Plans.

Mr. Hawthorne holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology, a master’s degree in Public Administration from The George Washington University, and is a certified Project Management Professional.

Vice President

Daphne McAuley has over 34 years of aviation, program management, business development, and leadership experience. She has managed unique and complex programs for the government and industry through her extensive background in air traffic control (ATC) operations, simulation, innovation, and training services. Mrs. McAuley joined DIGITALiBiz, Inc. (iBiz) in July 2020 as Vice President and oversees business operations including personnel, contracts, and business development activities.

Prior to joining iBiz, Mrs. McAuley was the Program Director at Serco responsible for the company’s Aviation Training programs. She previously worked for Raytheon as a Senior Program Manager on several critical DoD, FAA, and commercial aviation programs including the FAA Air Traffic Control Optimum Training Solution (ATCOTS), Rolls-Royce Flying Testbed, Raytheon Multi-Platform Testbed, and ATC and Maintenance Engineering Operational Support. She has been a member of the Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA) and the Scholarship Committee for many years and was recently appointed to the Board of Directors.

Mrs. McAuley began her career in the United States Navy serving at various duty locations throughout her twenty-year career. As a Chief Air Traffic Controller, her years of service culminated in instructor and program manager tours at the Naval Air Technical Training Center (NATTC) Pensacola, FL and the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWC TSD) Orlando, FL.

Mrs. McAuley earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Studies from Southern New Hampshire University, a Master of Science Degree in Human Resources Management from Florida International University, and is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). In addition, she completed the Contract Manager/Program Management Programme from Oxford University and the Principles of Program Leadership program at Babson College.

Advisory Board Member

David (Dave) Ford has more than three decades of National Airspace Systems (NAS) operations and program integration experience. He performed various duties, including executive and technical leadership, while working at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Mr. Ford is an internationally recognized expert in Oceanic Air Traffic Services. He has a proven record of successful leadership on the deployment of innovative technologies that enhance the efficiency of the NAS. He has program management experience in oceanic systems, airport surface systems, terminal air traffic automation systems, weather and surveillance technologies, and noise monitoring and abatement.

Mr. Ford joined the DIGITALiBiz (iBiz) Advisory Board in March 2011. In this role, he will provide advice to corporate executives, and support strategic initiatives such as the expansion and growth of iBiz into the aviation industry.

Mr. Ford also serves as Founder and President of Ford Aviation Solutions. At Ford Aviation, he currently consults in a wide range of aviation areas that include air traffic management automation systems, operations, and concept development. He provides consulting services to companies that do business in the aviation field, particularly with respect to FAA’s NextGen Air Traffic Modernization Plan. He currently supports the FAA’s PBN efforts for changes in the ATC separation rules to take advantage of the high performance of advanced technology aircraft.

Prior to establishing Ford Aviation Solutions, Mr. Ford served as Director, Aviation Strategies at Lockheed Martin. While at Lockheed, he was instrumental in starting a new line of business in Traffic Flow Management. Mr. Ford’s solution presented a notable step forward in traffic flow management capabilities through an on-site airport prototyping initiative. This unique approach resulted in the development of a design model integrated with a major U.S. carrier’s daily operation.

Prior to joining Lockheed, Mr. Ford worked at the FAA for more than 30 years. During this time he served in numerous capacities, including support at the FAA’s Operations Research organization where he worked on technologies and programs that minimized aircraft fuel burn through optimizing flight tracks in oceanic airspace. Mr. Ford was the Senior Executive Service (SES) manager in charge of FAA’s Advanced Technologies Office, including the Safe Flight 21 ADS-B development program. He was also the SES manager in charge of the successful deployment of the world’s most advanced Air Traffic Control System – the $500M U.S Oceanic Automation system (ATOP). Mr. Ford was the SES Integrated Project Team (IPT) Leader for Terminal Automation Programs. In this capacity, he was responsible for the planning and procurement of NAS Terminal Automation Systems and managing an annual budget of approximately $350M.

Mr. Ford holds a Master of Science Degree in Engineering from George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Portland, Oregon. He received his Program Management Professional (PMP), Project Management Institute (PMI) certification in 2003.
