Mark Rados has more than 35 years experience specializing in financial planning, business management and accounting. He has extensive experience in the installation and operation of various accounting systems such as DELTEK, SYMPAQ and PROCAS and has directed the development, implementation, operation, maintenance, and control of essential business, information, and operations support systems.
Mr. Rados joined DIGITALiBiz, Inc. (iBiz) in February 2009 and currently serves as the company's Chief Financial Officer. His responsibilities include accounting operations; contracts, subcontracts and procurement; financial and management reporting; capital and lease planning; and, indirect expense and rate management. He manages audits interfacing with DCAA on contractor accounting systems, the acceptance of provisional indirect billing rates and incurred cost audits.
Prior to joining iBiz, Mr. Rados served as Chief Financial Officer to provide financial, operational and compliance support to a Global Macro hedge fund manager of two Master-Feeder structures and multiple managed accounts with $720 million of assets under management. As Chief Compliance Officer, he effectively registered, complied, and de-registered with the SEC as an Investment Advisor, successfully passed National Futures Association audit, and received Amber Certification. Structured Master-Feeder entities for foreign exchange portfolio complete with disclosure documents and procurement of directorship services.
Prior to working in the investment advisory industry, Mr. Rados spent 20 years with Government contractors where he implemented and sustained financial departments, formulated and projected indirect rates through detailed forecasts, established relationships with banks and CPA firms and provided the financial management required to ensure a sound financial base for operations. Mr. Rados also implemented and staffed Contracts Departments in addition to establishing benefits and implementing Human Resource departments. As Chief Financial Officer and member of executive management teams, he facilitated and participated in strategic planning sessions where business plans and goals were developed and subsequently communicated to employees.
Mr. Rados received a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Maryland.
